Monday 03 October 2022 I had my BP (blood pressure) tested for the first time in just over 3 years. It was very high 162/81 and I weighed 115 kg. A bit of a wakeup call. I had been eating late night till early morning hours due to working all day (I have a lousy boss... I work for myself) and only being able to cook/eat around 21/22h00. Eat and fall asleep at my PC... Recipe for disaster.

I put myself on a strict, healthy eating & exercise regimen (just an hour brisk walk with the dogs every morning). I have lost 5 kg so far... and as a reward I went out and bought myself a Juicer (smoothie maker) today. Made my first ever smoothie this evening... absolutely divine... and healthy.

The reason I wanted a 'juicer/blender' is because I have been eating a whole lemon (peel and all) every day for the past 7 days (Google it). Supposed to be very good for you and from the way I am feeling already, I suspect that it is...

Having said that I guess that it is probably a combination of all the improvements that I have made to my lifestyle.
