I have noticed now that Im in my second week induction that while eating celery this morning for a snack and preparing cabbage this afternoon how the veggies have a really sweet taste to them. I treated myself to a sugar free glass of ice tea and had to water in down because I found it to be way to sweet. Its just fascinated me how cutting out sugar has now assisted me into really tasting natural sugar in foods, also how my appetite has decreased with this elimination. Im am having cabbage for dinner but nix on the beer because Im still in my induction stage...Happy St Patricks Day to all of the wonderful people here on FS.

Yeah, it's really amazing how it changes your taste buds. I'm in the second week as well. I really am liking the way my food tastes more and more.
