Surprise, I am down 2 more pounds today courtesy of IF and keen focus on what I am eating. More of the same today. Started my day with lemon water (I drink about 8 glasses or more per day) and my bulletproof coffee. I have switched up my sweetener a bit and I am trying Stevia in the raw for a bit. This morning I did my BP with only coconut oil and a touch of coconut milk but no butter. I did an extra large serving of coffee. I think what is most surprising about IF is the fact that I can actually fast for 16 hours and I don't miss breakfast and I am not hungry and I don't gorge like crazy during my eight hour window and ... even though I don't understand why, it immediately killed my carb cravings. The carb craving part is a life saver because I feel like I can withstand the temptations in the house (my children and husband). Well, I am off to work on some more writing today. Yes - that is great isn't it? It has also been working for me most days. When I go to the gym four days I do have to have my shake in the morning - but the other days it is a help.

HCB: It is absolutely great! Some people even work out in the am while following IF - not sure I could do that (I would probably do the shake like you do).

Draglist: Truly there are so many benefits I am experiencing aside from the weightloss. For example, in the morning when I do a lot of my writing and thinking for work my brain is buzzing like crazy - mental clarity to accomplish the heavy lifting I need for writing articles and sales content! More energy too. Why did I ever stop it? So glad I came back to it!!!

I know! They talk about coconut oil and other healthy fats being absolute brian food! I also experience that sense of clarity! Have you read "Grain Brain" by Dr. David Perlmutter? I think you would like it..
