Using tofu, that's brilliant 👍👍👍

It's not a bad way to start the day, Wifeski! Ginome -- the tofu blends right in, even the extra-firm type in my underpowered blender. I'm thinking I may buy a new blender for myself for my birthday. (From me, to me, hugs and kisses 😘🤣)

I had not thought of using tofu in smoothies. What a great idea!

Let me know how it works for you, karen!

I love that idea! I’ll have to try tofu as I don’t care for the protein powders.

That looks awesome. I would like to try Tofu but that is one of the forbidden foods for the type of breast cancer I had. But I do like protein powder so that is a plus!

Thanks for sharing the tofu idea! I struggle with the protein powder texture.

I hope you are well, Redporchlady 😊 Same concept could also work with protein powder! It's also good with avocado in it

SLYONE -- when I was traveling, out of desperation, I bought some No Cow brand vegan protein bars. Blech! That chalky texture! In a pinch, I'd buy them again, but ONLY in a pinch 😉

That looks really good! I also love my smoothies, I use (usually) frozen Strawberries & a banana, sometimes some mango chunks. But I love the Whole Foods 365 Soy vanilla protein powder. I also add some collagen powder & chia seeds. It always surprises me how much fiber fruit has so I don't always add chia. Anyway its delish! I've heard of using tofu so I will try it at some point. I know it takes on the flavor of whatever it's in, & it's good for you, so all good!

I also switched to Almond milk from soy milk, except on the rare occasions I get a chai at Starbucks. I buy unsweetened vanilla almond milk & SB's Almond milk is too sweet. So soy it is! I also use carob powder instead of real chocolate bc it gives me migraines 😩. Sometimes I make frozen "nice cream" with a frozen banana, vanilla extract, & carob powder, some milk if needed. YUM!

How do you like the carob, Hazel? I remember trying it years and years ago, but don't remember what it tasted like. I don't have problems with chocolate, so I stick with that
