writingwyo's Journal, 01 September 2022

I ate so badly yesterday I was embarrassed to record it. I went into an office potluck with the best of intentions, but fell afoul of cupcakes and chocolate eclair cake and chips. Not good, and it didn't make me feel good afterward. Skipped dinner and still stayed within calorie goal, at least. Lesson learned, and time to boogie back to that trail I wandered away from! Tofu scramble, blueberries, and potato for breakfast, corn and bean salad with pumpkin seeds for lunch, and veggies and fruit for snacks. Alas, when I got to my desk this morning, my dear, sweet boss left me a fancy cookie in thanks for some work I had done. I thanked him graciously, but I may take the cookie home and foist it off on my husband.

I have, indeed, been straying a bit too much from my chosen WOE. Someone pointed that out to me gently, and they were right. It doesn't make me feel well. Sometimes you gotta do it wrong to remind yourself why you want to do it right

I hear you! About a week ago I had Chinese Food for the first time since 2019. Next 2 days felt ill. No fever, and the food itself wasn't spoiled. Just not for me anymore. In the future, a bite or two because it tastes so good. The lessons we learn, huh 🙄😃

Wow this looks so delicious I wouldn't know what to choose first. Understand about those temptations. Finished one day this week with some crunch n munch and had trouble stopping the crunching and munching. From the food pictured, you are definitely seem back on track. Everything looks beautiful and no doubt that took time and effort. :)

Indeed, LivinBreezy! My husband was quite happy I gave him the cookie. After eating myself woozy on sugar yesterday, it held little allure

losingtowin -- I wake up insanely early, I love to cook, and I don't function well without a solid breakfast and lunch, so it's become a morning routine to fix food. The corn and bean salad was leftover from the potluck, so lunch was easy.
