well there you go proof that eating out makes you gain weight. Laughing but not really laughing. ya know?? So had some moments of eating out while I was helping put the finishing touches on our newly renovated sanctuary at church. By the way looks amazing but took a toll on my figure!! 7 pounds!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! Not to mention I'll be in Colorado next week for 5 days on a youth trip. The want us to bring funds for 3 meals a day. You know what that means??? 3 meals a day x 700 cals each WOAH!!! So with plan in place this week is a week of change, eating super healthy and keeping in mind that flo is due next week too. Big YAY for her. Silly but I have a plan in place to only buy dinner each day and something HEALTHY at that. I have my own breakfast and lunches packed in my suitcase and if your wondering it's protien bars. I'm freaking out a little that I won't have the self control that I'd like to have. 7lbs that means I've got eight left to lose. I'm sure that chasing those teens around for 5 days should do the trick, I have to eat healthy or else. I have been on this trip a couple yearss back and belive me it's UGLY in the food department. We eat at the Highest Cal places on the face of the planet, GAS STATIONS!!! Geeze!! I'm bustin this weight it's gotta go!!!

Split the meals with some other weight concious teen. I am sure there is some teen girl there that would go for it. or even one of the sponsors. angie might be willing to. i know she commented on eating out too much on facebook. also the gallahger girls have been losing... they might appriciate the offers to split meals. order a side salad as well... not the fancy meal salads. half the time they end up being more calories than a burger but the lettuce tomato cucumber side salad. fill up on that and split the burger. you might even lose =)

There ARE good things to eat at the gas station or the fast food restaurants, you just have to look around. There is some good info at Eatthisnotthat and I have also read a few good articles on what the healthiest choices are at the convenience store, but I forgot where they were. Prevention has alot of good info or you could Google it. Don't just eat protein bars though, that would make for a very boring trip, food wise. Look around I'm sure you can find more interesting choices than that if you just do your homework, first!

Yeah, I know about doing the homework. I had to throw a pitty party to make myself feel like I was at least doing something. : )
