Mental attitude is everything first things first no one on this planet is ugly second being healthy is what’s important being slim is part of what we desire but being healthy the the prime reason what’s the point of being stick thin & ill? So I suggest u talk to someone about what really is bothering you then hopefully it will fall into place it’s normal we sometimes go through a dark sad moment had one recently the right attitude is to work with what u are given … slowly will get there …

Thank you! I know my attitude is wrong and I'm working on changing it. It's just rlly hard not to just focus on how slim I am and to wish I was thinner because my mum keeps pointing out how I should lose weight.

I totally get that. I’m a mum and I want my teens to be healthy above all but I know that suggesting losing weight doesn’t help because that’s just saying they should ‘be’ something different instead of ‘do’ something different. It’s good to think about how you want to be (strong, fit, feeing positive) but what you can affect is what you do and small steps add up. Hope you can help your mum understand how to support you differently

The world is kinder to skinny and pretty people. It's normal to want this advantage. Keep working at it, losing weight will give you many advantages.

Focus on health, my dear. Focus on you and what you want for yourself, not what you think others think. (I can almost guarantee you their thoughts about you are not as negative as you imagine. ) We live in a world of constant marketing that makes us wish for what we don't have and tries to make us unhappy with what we do have. Been there. Big hugs 🤗

How we see ourselves isn't always how others see us. Be kind to yourself. Look after yourself by drinking plenty of water which can help to reduce your calories and will help your digestion. Set yourself healthy realistic goals for fat / inch loss over a sustainable period of time, using this app to help you work on achieving a safe and sustainable calorie deficit each day. Where possible try to include a variety of food that will fill you up and give you good nutrition, whilst being low calorie. If you can get a permdonitor you could challenge yourself to increase your steps each day. Also include some exercise that will help you to build a bit of muscle which helps you burn fat. The exercise and focus on health can help you physically and mentally. One of the most important relationships (apart from the one with God) is the one you have with yourself. Perhaps keep a journal if you don't already to help you think about the things you are grateful for and also all of your strengths and good things about yourself. 🙏
