Keidrake's Journal, 22 August 2022

Big drop overnight!! O.O 1.6lbs. Completely unexpected. Walked for almost an hour at the gym after meeting with the personal trainer this morning. After talking with him, I'm going to see him on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30am after I drop my youngest kid at school. He was pretty surprised that I was already tracking my daily food intake. But it was a good conversation. My first day will be next Tuesday since he had other things already booked this week, but that will be my standard time. I'll probably see him for next few months on the regular, then decrease that as I get more comfortable with the gym and the routine of things. And then only schedule appointments when I need to change things up, or need a boost in intensity or something.

I also have the roast on for tonight and it smells completely amazing already. It'll be cooking low and slow til dinner time.

Forecast is calling for rain all week and I'm super happy to have my gym membership to be able to walk out of the rain and away from the constant Mom/Hun can you help me with whatever when I'm trying to get exercise in.

Diana, I really need the guidance right now. Because I refer to gym equipment as 'that pully downy one' and 'the pushy outty one'..... >.> lol. I figured it was more streamlined to have someone help me learn my way around and put together a few routines that will work for me. I'm really looking forward to it. :)

Otb, it's just how I work. lol. Tell her we can be friends if she can handle my random song references during conversations. I have no control over that and it seems to be hereditary. ^_^

@ lightbeing He's fit, but doesn't look like a power lifter. I met with him for an hour on Monday, but we start our sessions next week.
