DH took the dogs this AM and then the two of us did a partial walk, then I finished up. All in all, I'm counting today as a 4-mile walk, but I'll log it in at only the 3mph pace, just 'cuz...
The weather is still sweltering but there was a breeze in a few places, which helped. Because I was already sweaty and had my bug repellant on, I planted some flowers I'd purchased a few days ago and got everything nicely watered. Then, it was time for a swim, which felt fantastic!
I battled hunger yesterday and had to eat a hard-boiled egg before bed. Today, I'm also really hungry after the walk, swim, and breakfast! I'm drinking fluids like there's no tomorrow, as well, but I guess that's to be expected. Based on bathroom trips, I'm still not fully hydrated.
Tonight, we have some steaks to grill out, along with brats and some ribs. We're loading up on the meat due to DH's adjusted dietary plan going into his PT test shortly.
Just for today....no nut butters and no peanuts, but the peanuts in the Atkins bar are OK.
Focus...weight does not come off without some effort and concentration.
