Seriously cold at -27C!!!! I don't want to go outside but I will pick-up my daughter at school so that she does not freeze to death! Eating is going well so far - had a lovely coffee this morning and would have had two cups except for the headache from the sedative I had yesterday.

Dentist visit went well yesterday - have a new crown and had a cleaning done at the same time. I am making an appointment to discuss some other dental work - will see how that goes (in terms of my phobia).

Tomorrow I am attending a university campus tour with my daughter. I know it's early (she's in Grade 10) but she wants a close-up of the university to help her decide which ones are top on her list. It should be interesting! We will take a trip to Montreal to visit the top university on her list (in the Summer). We will make the rounds over the next two years so that she has some idea of the campus before she has to apply (2017 Feb. is the application deadline).

It may be cold but I am going to make the best of the day ... keeping my positive vibes!

Hope you feel better and the dentist helps you get over your phobia. Get your teeth all healthy so your future visits will be just routine. How cool to be touring the colleges. You are a great mom.

Wow, I do not think I have ever been in -27C weather before. Stay warm!

That's about -16 F. Those temps are not nice. Dress really really warm.

Mom, Ging, WFN: Brrrr ... ! I was not meant for these climes! They are warning that cars may not start tomorrow morning! That's all I need - I am hoping that my vehicle won't have any issue. It's a tough SUV and has not failed me in the three years I have had it. MOM: I have some wonderful kids - I feel so blessed to support them to realize their dreams. I am just listening to my oldest play the piano in her room .... the melody is warming me up!

Incredible talented kids reflect on good parents. Hope your car starts, I make sure mine is in the garage when it gets anywhere close to zero.

I was just wondering how your car started in this weather. I would think a lot of people need a garage. We had 10 F. degrees this morning and that is cold enough for me. I can't imagine your weather. Brrrrrrrrr!

I am so lucky as far as cars go. I have a Land Rover and honestly, it's the best vehicle I've had so far in terms of safety, strength, reliability and performance. I trust it to take me through heavy snow and ice (outfitted with Winter tires of course) and it has settings for every terrain. We have a garage but my hubby uses it (we actually have 3 vehicles so mine gets to be outside as I am the first to leave in the mornings).

OH, sorry your's is outside. Glad you have a dependable vehicle with your weather. Land Rovers are definitely tough cars. I love, love my jeep.
