DAY 6 of reaching my step goal! Legit just started moving and stacking moves in the basement after moving. Made a complete perimeter then started stacking items together that went together so my mom can make more sense out of it. (Yes I have a kid and I’m thirty and live with my mom and Dad, I’m renting and getting my life together as a single mom since I started over with the clothes on my back and what fit in my trunk after leaving my husband. Judge me all you want or you can suck my giant Gahona‘s for fighting harder.) turned a none work out into a work out, laundry, dishes, and entertaining a toddler at the same time. Also, did an over the phone therapy session with my ear buds while feeding her. Want to talk about feeling like a bad ass multitasking single mom rock star! This kid does! Eat my future skinny booty busy….that sounds bad. Whatever 😂

I don't think there's anything wrong with living with your parents while your trying to start over. Your doing the best you can for your kid and yourself. It's not your fault your husband made the bad choices he did.

Millions of people in this country are single parents. You can do it. You are very fortunate to have that level of family support. Definitely make the most of that opportunity.

as long as you and your child are happy that is all that matters. being a single mom has its struggles but you gotta do what is healthy for you and your child. i understand... my moms family didnt ever wanna hear about the abuse i endured and even encouraging me to stay with him... once i left, i was happier despite having my son on my own, no help aside from babysitters and working constantly. All in All- you are doing great!! 😃 👍 keep up your hard work, and balance out that hard work with rest and restoration! Theres alot of pressure on single moms; make sure you pamper yourself. watch out for signs of burn out...!!

Thank you everyone for the support. Today definitely wasn’t as great as the other day. But the kind words and support so help. What are signs of burn out and how do I counteract them Dazey2112?

Theres work place burn out and parental burn out; itll take a bit of Google research to see the signs of each. Since im a stay at home mom currently experiencing parental burn out, im just now learning how to cope. I learned about this WAY too late. Biggest clue something is off for me- i just mentally and physically shut down when my toddler cries, and i wanna spend time alone, disengaging from everyone.

Just wanted to reach out and say that there is never any shame in living with your parents. The cost of rent is so bad, there may come a time when we all live with our parents again.

No judgement from me! It's hard to make it nowadays. My granddaughter came here to stay with us while she got back on her feet..it worked out great for both of us! 💜💜💜
