According to my old doctor, limiting myself to 100g carbs per day and excluding all grain products and fruit would make the pounds drop off. As much as I disliked his attitude (he seemed to think that I was making excuses for my bad eating habits when I said that I don't have time to cook every day), he might be onto something. I tried it before for about a month, lost no weight at all and spent the entire month with a migraine, but I'm trying it again, but more sensibly this time. I'm eating small portions of whole grains and fruit while sticking to my RDI and <100g carbs and already, my feet and ankles are less swollen and it's only been a week.
