So does anyone else here have asymptomatic bradycardia? My HR can and often does drop to 44bpm when I’m in deep sleep.

My resting/sleeping heart rate is roughly 55 bpm. Had athletic bradycardia in my late teens/early 20’s. I went to the Dr.’s office once in my late teens and had to sit there for a few minutes before the nurse took my vitals - my resting HR was 48. As long as you know why you have it, it’s usually not a problem. Do you run/swim/train otherwise? If not, maybe run it by your Dr. just to be on the safe side.

Assuming that it’s not age related or from smoking cannabis, I would call your doctor. They can do a bunch of labs to check electrolytes, thyroid, do an EKG, etc. Gotta protect your heart and brain! 🤕😷🩺🔬❤️‍🩹

Yes you might say I’m active for 66. I can ride 40 miles on a bicycle and my weekly work schedule can keep my HR at 100-120 or so for several hours. Runner in past years. Think I’ll be alright just kinda surprised when I saw the 44bpm during sleep hour.

Sounds training related, but it never hurts to get it checked out. Then you know for sure it's because you're a beast.

A lot depends on what kind of a device this is that is counting these beats while you sleep... pulse oximeter? Do you wear a heart monitor to bed. If it is getting the number count from the waveform we are seeing here— it is meaningless

Just FYI, I tried a phone app that supposedly analyzed sleep patterns. I know from 8 professional sleep studies that I get almost no deep sleep, and it’s fragmented horribly. The app showed I slept well (deep) almost the whole night, with few interruptions. Gave me a very positive grade, when I’m actually disabled due to sleep problems. If this is a phone app, do not trust (based on my experience)!
