Keidrake's Journal, 03 July 2022

It was an eventful day yesterday. I didn't really track anything, but I was mindful of my portion size as I cleaned and cooked for company. I made Oven roasted pork loin, gravy, rice, zipper peas, green beans, fresh cucumbers and tomatoes and garlic toast for my closest friends and their families. Then we set off fireworks when it got dark. We're fully planning to go see the big firework show on the 4th here in town, so we celebrated a little early with our friends. It was a good day of company, but I'm happy to be home with just my family today. lol. We had 6 adults and 7 kids, the house was only a little chaotic, the rain even stopped and let all the kids play hide and seek outside. I recently tried noodles made of mushrooms too, and they were pretty good. I'm not a fan of mushrooms so I consider that a win. Also Hubs agreed to get a spiralizer! And the noodle form of cucumbers is awesome in salad. Really want to try it on other veggies. lol.
