My weight has been fluctuating. I get down to 176 and then go up again 2 to 3 lbs. what I have been fearing has come true. My doctor has me on a low dosage of steroids, only 10mg 3 times a day for bronchitis, but it has been effecting my weight and also preventing a good nights sleep. Only a few 6 more days of these meds, hopefully my weight won’t go up too much. I am so close to my goal of 170 that the number is teasing and taunting me.

Don't loose sight of the reason for weight loss, better health! If you don't take care of the immediate need, no long term goals will be necessary. Give yourself grace to heal. The rest will come in time.

I was on steroids for years and I found that eating foods that have a crunch worked well. I’d have carrot and celery sticks on hand. Also crispy apples were a treat. Any time those monster hunger pangs would start (which seemed endless), I’d have at least 5-6 carrot sticks. I wish you the best on your journey to a healthier you! 🌺
