Just finished lunch...I feel fat. My food choices up till this point have been ok. I want to be perfect though. My biggest success so far has been no junk. I haven't had a lick of cake, candy, sweets, nothing at all. I'm proud of that. But I'm really wanting to avoid all sugar and yet I'm still putting a tablespoon of creamer in my coffee, today and yesterday I ate a tortilla and today....without even examining the label... I ate a zone bar. :-( Like I said. I feel fat now. :-(

none of us is perfect so don't beat yourself up (says the lady who is a master of beating herself up!). small changes add up to big changes over time so maybe you're trying to make too many changes at once? so you ate a tortilla and a zone bar. now what can you do to mitigate that? what's done is done, so now move forward and remember how you felt when you slipped. that helps me get over when i make a slip. hang in there, you're still under your daily RDI!

Have you tried alternate sugars? Maybe it would help to kick your sugar cravings if you were still getting the sugar, but from a different source. Maybe try eating fruit in place of those things...

Thank you for the support! I do have a piece of fruit now and then to help combat the sugar cravings. It works well. I tried to find the low carb tortillas, but they were out and I was out of time to go running around looking for them. :-( And the zone bar was letting myself get too hungry and not paying attention. I shall keep at it though :-)

It might be the sugar alcohol or splenda that is making you feel that way. It can make you feel bloated.
