I thought of another way to make sure I get through the holidays without destroying my sugar levels and my shrinking waistline.

Since others can see my food journal, I'm committing to being 100% honest about everything I eat (I pretty much am anyway, but I haven't been faced with a holiday yet) and record it in my journal all of next week.

My thinking is that if I pick up something I shouldn't be eating, I'll think "Do I really want to have to admit to everyone at Fat Secret that I actually ate this?" If my answer is that I'd embarrassed to put it in my journal, I won't put it in my mouth.

Let's see how it goes, and everybody who thinks about it, feel free to watch my journal and call me to the carpet if I get carried away.
