'Your doubts not an option....' Tool - 7empest - Fear Inoculum

I've been thinking about my list/training schedule... I have been told it's the heaviness that people give themselves when they want to do something, but wimp out.

I have stuff to do outside of chess. Reading books, I admit is going to be difficult, because I don't have that much visualization, while authors just spout off games verbatim, for like 20 moves.

My mom has tried to get me to relax, and not think of chess all the time. Some think my mental health is going to take a hit. I admit that it might. I have an appointment with my psychiatrist next Monday.

Thank you all so much for your suggestions. We'll see what the psych says. I already know I need a med change. I am maxed out on Deluxotine. It doesn't seem to help anymore. We widdled it down to 20mg, I was on 60mg. Mental health monitoring is paramount for me, since I get depressed rather easily.

Work Work Work! I am looking for a book to read (fiction), but I would have to force myself to read it, because I have lost wehat kind of genre's I like, the last thing was when I read Piers Anthony and the Fractal Mode series. That was 15 years ago. Ever since I have not read anything fanciful.

If you all have suggestions about different books I might try, lemme know!

And thank you all. I think the challenge idea is good. Hmmmmm. I wonder who would take up that challenge.

There are so very many great books out there. I love James A Michener, but the books are long and detailed. You have to decide how much focus you have.. library, AMAZON ? Almost all libraries are online now. Do you want to read a digital book or a hardcover. If the library is your choice you can just download the book, read and return.. many choices.

I used to be a subscriber to Kindle Unlimited, but I needed to streamline my books. Some fiction books were not read for 3 weeks, then I had to return them. It was a waste of books and money. Maybe it's an issue with my lack of reading something that interests me. I have time, but it just doesn't appeal to me. So I read chess books. All the time. I am reading a book currently on Chess Psychology. I am beginning to burn out possibly. I possibly need a break, since the book chapters are like 60 pages each.
