After a bit of advice. when you cook dry pasta or dry long grain rice which ones do you all pick for your calories as it never says if dry or cooked weight in description. I lways weigh before cooking. The same with raw chicken etc. my calories always seem extra high compared with others on here eating similar things.

I've asked this question in the past its dry weight or so I was told I once ended up with a massive portion. knew in my head it was wrong but still ate it! 😂 x

We did a chicken curry today cooked 100g dry rice each, today I worked it out at 353 calories per person, once I added the 250 g chicken mince and sauce 193 was just over 810 calories each , was lots of calories for not a huge looking meal.
Only has mulit grain pops with marmite, yoghurt and apple for dinner tonight 😂

Yeah I've just done white rice it was 40 grams dry weighed exactly 100g cooked but brown rice is different as it holds less water for some reason 😀
