Day 16 and still making some progress.
Today's weigh-in was, well, Meh...
.2lbs lost...don't get me wrong, as long as the scale is moving in the right direction, that's good.
It's just when you have over 109lbs to go to hit your goal weight, .2 is less than 'earth-shattering.'
That begin said, let's break down what .2 really is - maybe we can make some 'lemonade' here.
1 pound is equivalent to 3500 calories, and to lose 1 pound a week, you need to cut back 500 calories a day.
So, .2lbs is equivalent to 700 calories - not too bad if you look at it that way.
Extrapolate that out to a few months (90-days of .2lbs daily) and you get 63000 total calories or 18 pounds.
To summarize, if you take a look at the longer game, maybe those minor gains and loses can be a little easier to accept.
And so it goes...
