Happy Saturday All.
Our Thanksgiving was yesterday - and what a feast it was! Had such a great dinner and loved being with family. I am sitting here thinking, as the rest of the house sleeps, and I am up a pound, that I need to just relax on the food, the weight, and the worry. I(as all of us have done) have achieved some small victory. Why should I never be satisfied? Slow loss is ok. I don't have to press. Why does 1 pound up freak me out? That could be any old thing - though I know it was two slices of pumpkin cheese cake, for sure :) Anyhoo - the calories we eat, the calories we burn, none of it is exact - so why are we so exacting on ourselves? Ebb and flow.
Today's my last weight lifting day for 8 days. Gonna try to make it a strong one: Front/Side Planks Mountain climbers Chin ups/pull ups Barbell Squats Good Mornings Bench Press Cable Rows Weighted Box Jumps Cable work with planks Spiderman pushups with dumbbells Sprints Cardio
Studying all weekend up until Monday 1:45, when I take my final for this course then start packing for the desert golf in Arizona ... a lovely 70 something degrees.
Enjoy your weekend folks. Cheers.

Br_e_co, I am glad to read you enjoyed yesterday. Family-time is a must!
On the weight issue, as for me a pound or so up after all the work is hard to digest. I read a great quote yesterday, " Exercise is like marriage, you can't cheat on it, if you want to see results."
Are you ever going to get to a round of golf?
Enjoy your day!

i like that saying Jennifer --- and it is true. Snezica said yesterday it's "discipline all the time" ... and it is ... but as it is a lifestyle, I must take the good with the bad and be able to live with it, that's where I am trying to focus on being a little less worried about it. as far as golf - i am just so excited about heading out to arizona - for 6 straight rounds of golf - the anticipation is killing me. Tuesday, I will be on a golf course in the desert. :) and not leaving one until the following Sunday.
