Today's my husband's birthday, and our 22nd Anniversary! ( and YES, we did get married on his birthday so he would not forget our anniversary! LOL!! ) He IS that bad w/ dates!
Didn't even realize that the Royals were getting married on "our" date today! That's how out of touch w/ the real world I can get! But I don't mind sharing :)
Heading off to the gym this morning, then groceries, ... beautiful day today, so hoping to get out and do some yard work! Nothing special planned for hubby and I, as our 17 yr old is having friends over to celebrate his birthday (which was last week while we were on vacation!)
Big cookout tomorrow... family and friends (for both birthday's / anniversary) so that will be a lot of fun!

Today, I choose to LOVE me! and to appreciate me! And to THANK me for doing the work - the hard work - to change the things that only I had the control over to change!!!

What a day for celebrating! I hope your special day (and weekend) treats you w/fun relaxing memorable times! PS I married my first husband of 22 yrs on tax day <SNICKER! SNICKER>! My 29 yr old son and 25 yr old daughter were both born on July 5. It was so cute and fun when they were little to have their birthdays during 4th of July weekend. But then...they became teenagers... OMGosh... They were trouble together...out riding off-road vehicles til' the wee hours of the night (without permission). At the time, we lived in a remote popular San Diego County desert where every holiday weekend was a party for those that came from the cities to recreate. Oh what joy I had during their teen birthdays. Thank goodness their dad was a Ranger and could round them up easily (500 miles of sand/dirt roads to hide about and around on)!
