Well, I managed to win the "Best Oddball Meatball" category with the only vegetarian meatball offering at our office March Meatball Madness cook-off yesterday. We weren't able to hold it in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic, so it was such a joy to be able to gather as a team and enjoy it.
Also saw the scale go down this morning after yesterday's 1100 calorie meatball-sampling lunch. Go figure.
No, it wasn't a "cheat." It was a planned special occasion and I regret nothing 😊 And truth be told...I COULD have eaten more, but was mindful enough not to do so.

🤣 Since no one else brought a meatless meatball, I kinda had the veggie ball field to myself 🤣 It's a recipe I may make again, but I had to chop a LOT of mushrooms!

Thanks, buenitabishop! It wasn't the top meatball, though, just topped the "Oddball Meatball " category. Our other two categories were "I want that recipe " and "Like Mom used to make." We're going to select the best in show with a bracket competition over the next week, like the NCAA tournament. I'm on our staff team building committee, and this was the first event we pulled together
