Good things are happening! First, I shouldn't even admit that I'm happy about this, the new house purchase was delayed for a few weeks! We were scheduled to close the day before Thanksgiving which would have made our 4 day weekend all about packing and working on the new/old house. I want to enjoy the holiday. I want to hang with family and lazily slum around the house for a morning. I'm still excited about moving to the new place, but the delay is welcome.
Second, I'm continuing to see physical results in my healthy lifestyle! I can squeeze into a size 12. It is a little uncomfortable, probably not ideal, but I can fit in 'em!!!!!
Now for the turmoil in my life: I can't find a dress for my husband's holiday party. He was very specific; "Elegant and classy" "I want you to look really nice." What pressure!!!! I love my new body - but it isn't supermodel quality by any means! Elegant and classy are hardly in the stores these days! Ugg.. I want to be Beauty in Beauty and the Beast. I want to be the Lady in Red. You know... that girl that everyone turns to see and just knows she's beautiful. I don't want to be OMG, she tried so hard or why is she dressed up so much? I'm really struggling with it. I'm sure it'll come together. Normally, when I try to hard, it gets all messed up, so I'm trying to relax a bit. The 2 week deadline is kicking my butt. Just breathe!
