It's been 24 days since I last weighed myself. I avoid the scale for a reason. But I want to see if having protein shakes and bars for a week does any good. I'm not sure I can stick to a week though. Yesterday I had 2 shakes and 2 bars. I may switch to just one a day, either shake or bar. Although then I have to figure out what else to eat which is the main reason I wanted to do this for a week.

I have a protein shake for breakfast every day. My hubby has 2 protein bars for lunch. At least those meals then you don't have to think about. All day every day, though, would make me crazy.

Thanks Shrewdness, Pegster and Buenitabiship. If I have 2 shakes and 2 bars a day it's 60 grams of protein. Today the plan is for just 1 shake and 1 bar so the protein isn't high enough. SO I'm having a Stouffer's lasagna for lunch. 360 calories and 22 grams of protein. Probably should have made a better choice but I didn't buy eggs and I have chicken breasts thawing that I'll cook tomorrow. I'm still under 1000 calories. Hope I won't eat any more today.

Find what works. I like my whey shakes. I do not have them every day.
