I was in the obese range back in 2012. My BMI was 30-31 when I decided I had to lose weight. My sciatica was causing severe pain after just cleaning one bathroom in my house. Today, I weight about 139 and I am still considered overweight since I am only 5'1".
Weight-loss should be about health. It is easy to focus on the superficial aspects of weight loss, but we must recall that we are doing this for health. My mother was obese and died at age 62 because of breast cancer. I have two small children and I want to be there for them as long as I can.
I have been able to watch some of these videos. If you have children that may be overweight or obese, I urge you to watch this documentary:
The Weight of the Nation: Part 3-Children in Crisis. http://youtu.be/T24B6T-hp0E
There are 4 parts to the series. The information is very informative when it comes to heart health and obesity.
