Feb. 26th I dislocated my knee.. Its been a long recovery process. Most of this weight loss i think is due to the fact that for the first month I didn't snack. i couldn't walk to get in the kitchen to get a snack so i didn't. Also this last 4 weeks I've been in therapy 3 times a week .. so its like i'm going to the gym for an hour each of those days. and lately I've been in the therapeutic pool and thats been wonderful for exercise and for recovery. I'm learning all kinds of streghthening movements to help get my leg better and to become a stronger person. Overall i don't suggest to anyone to dislocate anything its no fun . but if you do make sure you find a PT that will help you overall and not just fix your one problem. Also see if you can find a local therapeutic pool . The one i go to is heated and is salt water. Not only does it feel great but it makes the exercise last long and i'm less sore.
