weirdangel's Journal, 21 April 2011

I did a walk today as it was so nice. Supposed to get more storms tonight so I really tried to push myself and go some extra blocks. Having a great day. Friend of mine is coming over for dinner and plan to keep it nice and low carb for me and make little extra for her and hubby. Tomorrow is Friday and I'm really looking forward to the weekend. I have such plans!! Cleaning out my closets and getting rid of some stuff. I haven't lost enough for my cloths to get loose, but I'm going to seperate my clothes into sizes so as I move down the sizes, they will be there. I have sizes that range from 18 to 24. My Goal is to get into the 18s this year. I have so many great clothes in size 18. I'm looking forward to seeing my "old friends".

Everyone have a wonderful evening.

That's a great idea about separating the clothes. Keep it up and you'll be in the next lowest size. BUT now here's the question... Do you donate or dispose of the higher size you grew out of?? ;-) We gotta have the confidence that we'll NEVER go back! Enjoy your evening with friends!!

Yes Nonna, I know-I Know... I didn't really skip lunch. I had the cabbage and stuck it under the Snacks. Not much of a lunch. No wonder I was so hungry for dinner. Sophie I know getting out always makes me feel better and here in Indianapolis there is a short window it seems where the weather is just perfect. Summer gets so hot and humid I will be out hoofing around the neighborhood early in the morning. Deelytful I actually keep my big girl clothes. I know I shouldn't and I should have the confidence but I've been to this rodeo so many times and donated or tossed my larger clothes only to have to buy more in time. I guess I will see how this goes. I'm making changes and doing this in a way I've never done before so I'm hoping this is my last RAH! Thank you everyone.

Will give you credit for getting out. You'll be into those skinny clothes in no time.

Thanks Buffy. It is hard to get going but once I do, I find I really enjoy it.

wierdangle, great plan for the clothes. I went through a while back and got rid of every single thing I had that were part of my old fat clothes, after trying them on and seeing how they just fell down to the ground! That was FUN!!!! Now all the clothes I have fit into 2 laundry baskets, which is fine by me. Never been much of a clothes hound. I know what you mean about the weather window...I live near St. Louis, and the confluence of the Mississippi, Missouri, Illinois rivers and the Cuivre River is less than a mile from my house, so the humidity here is like yours...brutal. I try to walk late in the evening or after dark in the summer and I take lots of water. Have an awesome Easter weekend!

Oh and I always kept my big clothes....like you I have been to this rodeo before, and I didn't have to buy too many smaller clothes because this weight was a been there done that (although the clothes were a bit outdated), but this time I got rid of my "fat" clothes...changed my mindset, and decided that I was NEVER, NEVER going back there again....and I'm not!
