so I've been at 220 lbs for 3 days.Im getting discouraged to say the least. my sister said to give it a week. I dont know if I can take a week of dieting for what seems like no reason. I'm going to do it tho. I think if I can get past this first block the weight will come off easier. we'll see

One of the most important factors in weight loss success is to have realistic expectations. Another is the ability to be in it for the long haul and get to goal. Consistency, patience and persistence will get you there. According to your chart, you have lost 5 pounds in 3 days. That is amazing. Your body isn't going to lose every day. You will have weeks where you overeat and lose big, weeks where you under eat and gain and weeks of no loss. We don't always see the results of what we do this week till next or the week after. You just have to keep going and know that you will eventually see the results on the scale or in your clothes. You just have focus on getting healthy.
