Hi Willie, I have a question and you may know the answer. I have heard that taking a 15 minute walk immediately after a meal will reduce blood sugar spikes. Do you know anything about that? I'm not diabetic, but my husband is pre-diabetic and I am looking for proactive things to do. J

JovialJ, I can't say for sure, but I do know that activity will lower your sugar readings. I only check my sugar once a day (as soon as I get up), but I did notice that since I've been exercising at night after dinner, my sugar readings have been lower in the morning. I typed the question "does taking a 15 minute walk after eating lower your sugar". Many sites came up saying a new study shows it does. Hope that helps.

Certainly can't hurt. My sis is avoiding pre-diabetic meds with exercise. Whatever it takes to get healthy.
