No weight recorded today, or the last several days. Been out of town and not really being faithful to my program. If you're not into an introspective on ones personal journey keep moving on! :)

To be honest the last several months have been a challenge for me. Tomorrow represents 1 Year on program. Net result is I am down 60 lbs (loss of 70 lbs, but gained 10 lbs back over holidays). Big YAHOO on that success. But I have also been beating myself up for the gain back. I worked so hard last year to lose every pound, only to give some of it back. At a point I was depressed over it. I know its silly, but its also reality, so I have had change my view by accepting my success, and enjoy it. That has been liberating. This isn't whining, just sharing what I have learned about myself during the last year, so that I could better position myself for the next 30-40 drop.

Tomorrow, Feb 1st, starts Round 2 of my Journey, but I am encouraged to proceed.

Happy Monday All!

That's the right perspective. 60lbs lost and kept off. I see people get very upset because they are not at an exact weight. That's crazy. Depending how much someone weighs, the everyday number is going to move 2-5lbs without you even gaining fat.

You got this! And it’s totally not whining in my eyes. I get the same way with even a pound gained back, and I have to constantly remind myself that it’s okay to live and enjoy yourself sometimes. All that matters is that you’re going to get back on it and that you have the motivation to do so! :D

I could have written this post. In 2.5 years I have lost 70-80# depending on the starting weight that I use. I chose to enjoy all of the goodies at Christmas and New Years this year. Then there were the leftovers that I ate the following week. I gained 8#. I have been obsessing and anxious over it until today. I'm down 1.4# from 12/24. You too will succeed. You know how you did it. You know how to find the combination that works. Take a deep breath and Go Go Go!

Stay with it, and remember that keeping to a small gain over the holidays is still a win for many of us. My chart suffered a holiday jolt too... Still not certain if it was real or a weigh-in mishap, but externally we continue with the battle, even if internally we struggle. Just think what might've been if we didn't even try!? You're doing fine, and others see your progress even when you can't! ⚖️📉👍
