Six hours of sleep, followed by two hours of drowsing while listening to podcasts.

Morning plank. Ten minutes on the Air Walk Trainer first thing in the morning to burn off glycogen.

Today was an up day on the Alternate-Day Diet (eat all I want).

Cardio: 1 1/2 hours on the Air Walk Trainer. Steps: 816 (Striiv Smart Pedometer). I decided to go back to wearing the Smart Health watch/pedometer tightly rather than loosely because I was concerned it was overcounting steps.

I've been taking a break from weight training. Around the same time, my back tension reduced markedly. Either I was stressing about the weight training, doing it wrong, or who knows what.

Started wearing blue light blocking glasses at 9:45 pm - late start. The Nook HD+ with the Android 4.4 micro-SD card started repeatedly crashing. I don't regret getting another tablet. I'm not installing a bunch of programs all at once on the new tablet just to be safe. I got a case for the new tablet to protect it from any falls. It has magnets which wake the tablet and put it to sleep when the cover is closed. It has an unexpected benefit: the magnets do a pretty good job of securing the tablet to the Air Walk Trainer, making it harder to knock off accidentally.

I finished scraping the bread off the edges of the slow cooker. Learned my lesson and won't bake bread in the slow cooker until I get my hands on some parchment paper. I'm looking forward to cooler weather so I can close the windows and cut down on the sound of the incessant dog barking and howling next door.

Go to youtube and find a recording of an angry dog. Play it really loud and see if the neighbor's dog shuts up.

Unfortunately, other dogs barking just starts him on another barking binge.

Too bad. I thought the angry dog growling would get your neighbor's dog scared and hide under the bed or something.

You haven't seen this dog. He makes the Hound of the Baskervilles look like a Paris Hilton purse dog.
