Air Fryers My husband gave us an Air Fryer for Hanukkah. So far, I've made Sweet Potato Fries, Beet Chips, and Crisp Brussel Sprouts. Do any of you use an Air Fryer in your regular food preparation? Have you found any special "legal" recipes that are regular go-to's? I'm looking for ideas. Thanks!

mismiki510 - Do you bread the salmon, or cut it into smaller pieces? I'm reluctant to put something in the basket that will drip, and possibly smoke. How do you prepare your salmon? Thx

I coat it in olive oil and season it, rubbing everything in good. You shouldn’t have to worry about any smoke. The idea is that the salmon should be lightly coated and not dripping so you shouldn’t ever have that problem. I’ve put things in mines that did drip a little oil and had no problem. I just didn’t allow a bunch of oil to collect in the drip plate. Clean any oil out regularly and minimize dripping oil and you’ll stay on the safe side. Also, people do bread their salmon too, I’m going to try that one day 😎

misskiki510 - Thank you! I made the air-dried salmon fillets today. You were right! No muss, no fuss. It was fast and easy. Next time, I'll reduce the cooking time a bit. Hugs to you!
