Just realized this morning that I had hit the halfway mark to my goal at my last weigh in!
Actually a bit over half :)

The biggest single factor that has made me feel better has been to increase water consumption. I used to be lucky to drink any water in a day, it was all coffee and soda. Now, I'm drinking at least 100 oz, of water (or flavored water w/ crystal light).

Biggest challenge so far is the scale. I weigh daily, but only record Mondays reading. I'd be insane if I let the scale affect me too much, some days I'm way up, others I'm way down, but over time it all seems to equal calories in / calories out. So weekly I'm seeing my weight drop, which is completely awesome! (even if some weeks show less than a pound lost)

Second biggest challenge is the evening snacking. I used to eat nearly constantly from the time I got off work till bed time. While I still eat a lot in the evenings, I've changed what it is I eat. Instead of chips, cookies, chocolate, etc... I now have popcorn, a skinny cow or some kind of low cal ice cream and every now and then I'll have a single piece of chocolate.

Overall I've not had many problems staying on target. It's all about finding alternatives that are enjoyable. And those things that are horrible for you that don't have an alternative, then indulge in moderation.
