So I'm not ready to open this giant size food service can of tuna yet (4lb 2.5oz), but I'm hoping to hear some of everyones favorite uses for it. Bought it cuz it prices out at about half the price/lb as the smaller cans. Tell me your fav's!!

1) form with an egg, parsley, garlic powder into a patty, pan fry and have a tuna burger with a slice of tomato (some of these can be frozen back) 2) mix with ranch dressing over greens for a salad 3) with peas, celery, green onions, sour cream topped with parmesan cheese - bake (save time microwave and put under broiler for a few minute) 4) mash with avocado, diced tomato, red onion, shredded lettuce into a taco tortilla Of these my favorite is #4 Have fun with that can

@LooseButtons, pan bagnat is one of my faves, but it's not diet friendly with homemade mayonnaise and eggs.

I usually make tuna sandwiches with a little Mayo, mustard and pickle relish, lettuce on them, and my favorite being a tuna melt with only Mayo, cheddar cheese and pickles toasted on the stove. The third is a casserole that I haven't made in a year or so with too much elbow macaroni pasta and cheddar'n'jack cheeses and a few lightly salted potato chips.

In the past I have bought it with a friend to make a big batch of 'antipasto' to bottle for Christmas gifts and entertaining. Antipasto is delicious and contains lots of healthy ingredients. https://weekendatthecottage.com/homemade-antipasto-sauce/#

Egg noodles, a can of peas, a can of condensed cream of mushroom soup and a couple cans of tuna all thrown together.

I like it as the centerpiece in a salad nicoise. With that can, you could serve salad nicoise as the main at the reception for a modest sized wedding. You'd need a bushel of green beans, a couple bags of potatoes and a hefty bucket of briny olives.
