Good morning ladies and gentlemen. It's almost Friday!
I wanted to list the things that I think contributed to me meeting my weight loss goals in hopes that it may help someone else. And please remember, this is what has worked for ME, your mileage will vary. I will post one tip per weekday.
Tip 15 of 25
If you are going out to eat at a restaurant, get online ahead of time and look at the nutritional information for the meals they serve. Use this info to decide what you are going to order before you get there. This helps you from getting caught up in the moment and ordering something that you may regret later. You can also get nutritional information for entering your meal into your food log from many restaurants’ websites.

Unless you're going to the Cheesecake Factory ...then I recommend a blind fold and just say 'water' LOL. Seriously they have some healthy stuff but it's tucked in between far too much deliciousness.

Did that yesterday. It worked great! I logged the info for my dinner into my food diary in the morning and was able to make great food choices through the day knowing what my dinner would entail.

How do you loose belly fat?
14 Aug 14 by member: van den ber

van den ber, belly fat is lost exclusively with diet, specifically by eating at a calorie deficit. There is no magic way to go about it. As you continue to lose weight your belly will shrink. Cutting processed foods, sugar and wheat from my diet worked wonders for me.

BBB good tip and your right on with your comment to Van Den Ber. Men, belly seems to be the last place the fat finally recedes from, though it seems to come off everywhere until we get to lower body fats, and women tend to lose it last in hips and thighs.

Where you carry your fat on your body is almost entirely genetic. You only lose belly fat by lowering your overall body fat percentage. Anyone who says you'll have 6-pack abs from a pill, secret food combo, supplement, or spot isolating with crunches/ab exercises, is lying to you. I came to grips with the fact that I may never have flat 6-pack abs and I'm ok with that. It's just my genetics.

I love the nutrition info I get via my phone. Without that I would really be in trouble given how much I have to eat out.
