Yesterday was Amazing, we are having a gorgeous Indian summer here in Ohio, so my friend and made plans to take a hike with our kids. 4mile walk on the Hopewell Sacred trails. We have one of the oldest Indian Mounds in Northern America the Voss site, This ancient trail was a breeze to walk and very beautiful atmosphere. More importantly I got a 4 mile walk. We took a break by the mound to reflect our history and school our children on the importance of our First People and my ancestors as well. She and I agreed to meet at least once a week for a hike, I'm so thrilled I have a hiking buddy!
