BekkaL85's Journal, 16 March 2011

I've really tried to be good today, and I think that I did a good job. I'm trying to beat those 2 pounds that I gained outta me so I'm really watching food right now.

Had to make some cookies for Michael's work. They had to be green for St. Patty's day. So I made sugar cookies and used green food dye. Then made some iceing and turned it green. Then made some decorater iceing and made (very crappy looking) four and three leaf clovers. Can you tell that I love to bake? But, as anyone who bakes or cooks can tell you, you have to try your food during certain stages to make sure that everything is going together well. I didn't try any of the dough, just because I can make sugar cookies in my sleep! But I did taste the iceing a couple of times...just to make sure it turned out right. I didn't have more than a teaspoon though...I'm pretty sure. And, I did have a cookie. But, I did limit myself to just one, so I'm happy about that.

I'm not gonna weigh myself for awhile though. The scale and I aren't on speaking terms right now, and I am punishing it by not listening to what it tells me! I am going to continue trying to eat right and move a little more and everything, pretty much everything that I have been doing. Just no scale for awhile.

Good for you on being good and not eating a glob of dough and cookies. 2 Lbs can be beat in a couple of days by eating right. Just be good and keep to the veggies and lighter foods. You will do well.
