Even though I've always struggled with my weight, this past few years of my life was when I felt the absolute WORST. I gained up to the point that I couldn't look in the mirror. I told myself I was heavier because I gained more muscel from weigh training. The fact is that I LOVE to eat. As long as I still love to eat, I need to exercise period.

So besides weight training, I talked myself into running last April. It wasn’t easy, but slowly and surely I started to enjoy it. Four months later, I ran my first 5K ever! I’m now 20 lbs lighter and I'm planning to run my very first half marathon next year!!! How bold I am. 😜🤞🏼

Not only is my body in much better health, but also my mind and my happiness. Without working out, I have no idea where I would be today mentally or physically. I'm 5'4" maintaining between 120-125 lbs, I lift weights 2 days a week (45-60 minutes) and run 3-4 days a week (3-6 miles a day). I'm eating approximately 1300 calories a day, but let loose on Sunday. Yeah, gotta have waffle on Sunday! 🧇

At the end, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" No offense. 😇
