😲😲😲 PITTED DATES VANISHED FROM MY KITCHEN. I Live alone. No robbery.
on Sep 23,2021 I bought 500g package of pitted dates to eat as my evening snack treat. The serving size on package is 6 dates (40g) = 120 calories. So the 500g package of dates is 75 dates. I recorded 120g (18 dates) consumed & recorded in 2 sittings.
Sep 23, 2021 snack at 1130pm was 6 dates (40g)
Sep 25, 2021 snack at 320am was 12 dates (80g)
So I should have 500-120 = 380g (57dates) left.....right? NO WRONG. I have 194g (29 dates) left.
I do remember grabbing 1 date at a time as I went in and out of kitchen for the last 2 days, but I did not think it was 28 dates, one at a time.
So in conclusion after simple math, I ate 186g (28 dates) =558 cal, one at a time, unconsciously in 2 days!!!
I have just added 1/2 (93g) to yesterdays snack & 1/2 (93g) to this mornings breakfast. Leaves me very little food to eat today.

MORAL OF THIS LONG STORY... *Record every morsel that goes in my mouth. *Pre-Measure out planned snack ahead of time, even if nibbling 1 at a time. *Just because I eat something one at a time, does not mean it has zero calories. *Eating standing up does not mean it is zero calories.
