Lol ripsic, please forgive for assuming you were a woman. Perhaps it was because you said you liked Cyndi Lauper?

Ian, I honestly don’t think I could continue without white rice. The summer is almost over and it’s getting chilly in the evening. And when it’s cold, we need our rice, yes?

No worries yfritz, not like I've shared that kind of information in my profile... lol. And yes. I do like Cyndi Lauper! With the weather getting cooler, not many things better than hot white rice with some type of soup or stew. Makes me think kimchi jigae is going to be on the menu this week!

ripsic! I plan to make kimchi jigae soon too. Bought ingredients… the question is, steamy white rice or wild rice? I haven’t decided.

Baileysmom, thank you, tea braised tenderloin is very easy. I like it because tea gets rid of the faint “animalness” in meats I am sensitive to.

White rice, no question about!

ripsic, ikr? But I made bibimbap this evening with wild rice, it was surprisingly acceptable.

👍. I typically mix grains anymore. My "white rice" is usually a mix of white, brown, millet, etc... I like it all! Enjoy!
