Yes, still with the headaches. Looks like no relief until we dry out again on Thursday. Holding on for that. Didn't sleep last night.

Mariel, chestnut, mbuzz thank you. I’m not a good cook but having fun paying attention to protein intake. You might start seeing some gross stuff here as I am an ultra omnivore… ⚠️☣️☢️ 

Liz, you mentioned that you are a cancer survivor. Have you discussed your headaches with your oncologist? I’m worried about you. And, how’s your vet friend this week?  

Naw, not cancer. It's weather related. The monsoons should be moving out tonight and then the temps will go up. I'll complain about sweat instead of headaches, which is how it should be. My vet went into the hospital yesterday for a biopsy, but they couldn't do it without a transfusion. He's supposed to have it today, but he's antsy and threatening to check out AMA. I wish they'd give him something for the anxiety to help him wait. This would be his second check out without it. I mean, get a clue people! 

Feel better soon Liz. Do you really want him to have biopsy? I’m trying to understand the situation. 

Well, they gave him 2 weeks, and now it's been 2 weeks and he's still here. So what if it's not cancer? They need to know that so they can decide on a treatment plan. But he checked out AMA before they got to him. So they'll reschedule and we'll do this dance again. Also, weather has cleared out and my headaches have gone with it. Yay! 

Glad your headache is gone. About his AMA… does he want a treatment? What does he really want to do? I go through exactly the same thing with my patients all the time. It’s heart wrenching but I learned to let them be. It does sound like pancreatic cancer, unfortunately. When they leave AMA and sabotage themselves, part of me still takes it personally, like, “doesn’t he care about me enough to live longer??” I don’t know if you feel that way.
