Made it to my second goal, minus 150. Here are several befores from many different years. Slumped in the plastic chair is 455 lbs in 1998. That was my all time high. I was barely living there. In the tux is at my daughter's wedding in 2013. Probably weighed around 425 there. That's me painting my FS icon in 2019. Holding the pumpkin cookie is the official start of this journey at 394 lbs, last October 2020, 307 days ago. The one with eyes closed holding a dried persimmon is from China in January 2020. I'm showing that one because I'm wearing the same belt n the pic I took today, and holding out the excess. Waist was 58. Is now 42. Weight today is 242.6: minus 151.4. There were many days and disappointing weigh ins over the last 10 months when I was sure I was not going to be able to get here at all. The example, wisdom, tips, strategies, menus, food pics and real life coping mechanisms shared by everyone here truly kept me from giving up. I'm not ready to maintain here. I will set one more goal in a few days. For now, I'm just going to try and come to grips with the fact that I actually got here. It feels magical. And when I look at all those befores, I just see all the pain and self destruction I inflicted on myself in what felt like a never ending cycle of down and up. The thought of trying to maintain is actually petrifying because I've never done it. But this time is the first time that I actually believe its possible. Make it log it, eat it.

Oh my gosh Gastropod, what hard work and dedication you have accomplished!!!💪💪💪
You look like a whole different human. Don’t ever let go of the reins. You can always splurge, yet as you always state: make it, log it, eat it!!!
Without logging we get lost, you need to stay on the site to keep yourself accountable. Many leave and come back heavier. Why, when it’s so easy to catch early, after all that hard work, one can so so easily slip back, I am scared of ever going backwards and wish I was here earlier in life.
As it’s been said, I can resist everything exept temptation.😁
Blessings and congratulations!!!🎉🎈🎈🎈
