Butterfly30's Journal, 07 April 2009

I am so thankful for my workout buddy! I just love her and in my opinion everyone should have a workout buddy! When you are at a weak point during an intense workout, your workout buddy is there to push you and yell at you and make you want to say “shut up my butt hurts!”
Kudos to my workout buddy!

Now on another note:

My journey toward a healthier me has inspired several of my co-workers. They are so cute saying things like “I thought if you can go to the gym after work and workout for 2 1/2 hours 5 days a week then so can I." How amazing is that! I think that if my struggle with diabetes and weight can encourage someone to keep fighting for their health...THEN THE FIGHT IN ME IS ON! It is not easy by far, (as I am sure that the majority of us have experienced). On occasion, I want to throw up during a workout, no on many occasions! Sometimes I want cry when I have worked my assets off at the gym (not cheating on my diet) and have gained weight. What a mental and physical strain...However, I must not quit or even consider allowing diabetes or any other health concern to consume me! I love me enough to fight for me and all of my future! May you all continue to work toward achieving your goals...
Blessings

Butterfly!

Congratulations Butterfly! You're right, there's np greater feeling than to be an inspiration to others. Keep up the good work.
