I am on vacation! Yay! What harrowing week! So bad. But today I got to see my 20-year-old intern represent our department at the "what did I learn presentations" and he was so cute, wearing a suit and a diamond earring - adorable! He has no sense of humor but he is good-looking and extremely competent. He could have used more pictures in his presentation, I don't know why he didn't. All good.
Going to camp tomorrow. I mowed my lawn, packed my clothes, carted my laundry around trying to figure out what to do with it, since I don't have a dryer. I think I am going to wash it all and then bring it to the laundromat tomorrow or maybe borrow my friend's dryer and take her to Costco. I don't leave til 4 since I am picking up an acquaintance from the airport on the way.
I am hanging on the zoom party tonight but all my zoom friends are vaccinated so I might not see them electronically tonight since they seem to be getting out in person. Half are away somewhere traveling, one in Alaska! (Hi, Dana!)
Had dinner with the former cocoon buddy - that was nice, we were hanging out very friendly-like. We might get back together but we have to figure out why we would do that. It's been fun being friends. So far, 10 minutes in, nobody is on. I will give it 5 more minutes and then watch a movie.
Not dieting well at all. Maybe this is my set point forever now, 159-160. Or maybe I will come back from vacation renewed. I have a house sitter and my daughter taking care of the birds so I will be able to relax.
