I had a wake up call about a month ago by seeing myself in a picture with my husbands family. The sad part was that I was wearing all white thinking all day that I looked good and really white just made me look bigger. I was really heartbroken. And I love white clothes. I love clothes in general.
I miss my clothes...
I realized then that I have been in denial. But the scale the other day just confirmed it. So I'm not going to lie to myself anymore. I love who I am. I am proud of my life. But the real truth is, my body needs some TLC and that's all there is to it.
Tonight I had a raw kale salad that was wonderful.

My wake up call was a doc telling me exercise and lose 50pounds or have a knee replacement.

Knee replacement makes a fat picture sound better. I was going to add that I love a good kale salad, and we like it with feta if we can, and olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Love ya, k

I make kale and fruit smoothies with flax seeds and almond milk on work day mornings.
