I use a scale as well. It's the only way for me to get an accurate reading on amt of food for logging.

I am a firm believer in the food scale! I am terrible at estimating portions lol!!! Welcome back, we missed you. ❤️💕❤️

That is exact one I have too it came in my welcome package when I signed up for virta. Love it. if you turn it on and then put container on it and hit the ON button again it resets to zero so you can add food without the weight of the plate etc adding in to the food weight.

Hey there! Haven't seen you in awhile! How you doing? I love my food scale too! I didn't have one before FS. I used a really old one with a very small shelf. It didn't have a bowl, so I'd have to use a plastic lid and recalibrate it every time. Don't know why I didn't get a digital one sooner!!!! I love it!

Oh yeah, and not as much cleanup as using measuring cups!

yes doctor told me my liver is fat so I need to lose 10 #. I told him I have been trying to lose so he set me up with his rn. I have to track my food and stay away from carbs. not really doing that well on the carbs but I have lost 8 # so far. I am walking almost every day. which I've been trying to get back to since my heart attacks. but my husband is going with me again and that helps. I expect by the time I see the rn I will have lost a little more than he told me to. I'm going to try for 20

I use scales too. I have found that not every item in a package is the same weight. I also found out how poor I am at guessing portion sizes...

I tell people to use a food scale all the time, it's not a tedious as most people think it is. I had the model in the picture, but got rid of it due to malfunctioning from just a little bit of liquid getting in it

I finally got a scale also. It doubles as a postage scale and it's very accurate. I had no idea of how far off I was on judging portion sizes and weights! My scale was under $20, so it's a great investment that I can also use for my side jewelry business. It's kinda fun too! 😁

I measure half and half with tablespoons for my coffee...for quite a while I was underestimating my usage by half!
