Good Morning, FS Warriors! No running today. It's a rest day, and I need it. Kind of pushed it yesterday. Had worship practice yesterday evening. It was a full day. Slept in till almost 5. Not much to report. Looking for something positive (or should I say negative?) on the weigh-in Friday.
My first 5K this year is only three weeks away. While my goal is just to finish in the vertical position, I am setting a goal of under 35 minutes. Like Ryan said, I am not built to run, so I'm not out to set any land records.
Hoping to do an easy 3.0 mile jog in the morning, and an even easier 5 or 6 mile run on Saturday morning. That would give me 17 or 18 miles for the week, and I think that's a pretty good total to maintain each week for a while. Barring any injuries, I'll taper off the week of the race and hope for the best.
Well, that's enough rambling for now. Hope everyone has a very good day. Toodles!
