I am planning to have VSG very soon. As a matter of fact I have already completed the checklist the Bariatric Surgeon gave me and I am now waiting for insurance approval. Once the insurance approves the surgery, I will get a surgery date. I am hoping for that to be sometime in April.

So 3/1/11 was my deadline. The day I set at the beginning of the year to start my new lifestyle. I had my last soda on 2/28/11 and am now tracking my food intake. I am on a high protein, low fat, low calorie diet. I am also trying to keep my carb intake at less that 100 grams per day and am drinking lots of water.

I hope this goes well. I would like ot lose 2lbs per week over the next 8 weeks! I'm fired up, now lets do it!
