Not the best day of eating but I stuck to the plan even though I was on the road all day.
Rest stops are the worst place to get food. I had a salad for lunch so I was not interested in that. I stood there looking at pizza, triple decker hamburgers, and a tim hortons filled with a carb addicts plethora of delights.
Ugh
I ended up buying a bag of roasted almonds in the gift shop and sucking it up.
All of it is my fault for not planning ahead and bringing food with me. I will try again next time.
Also bc I front loaded all my dang calories in the morning, I'm starving now. Its 10 pm which is no time to eat. Just have to check blood sugar, though, bc as I improve my eating I have to adjust insulin downward as needed.
It was interesting bc it was the first time I didnt eat something based on a permanent way of eating (no grains) versus just "low carb". I just kept picturing my insulin going nuts if I ate that panini.
I hung in there well today. :)
